We have a lot to be thankful for this year, but these two littley turkeys rank pretty high on our list!
Thanksgiving looks a little different for our family this year. No fishing on the Outerbanks for Kevin or visiting with my family for me, but we had a great Thanksgiving here on the west coast with our new friends, the Edwards, and dear friends from back home, Tuba and Ashley. Here are a few photos from our first west coast Thanksgiving.
That's right...the men were in the kitchen, but let's be honest...
nothing new there.
Adrienne made everything look festive!
Tuba must have the touch because as soon as I gave Beckett to him, the kid fell asleep, just like that.
Alex and Maddox had a blast playing on the bunk beds.
I have to say that this was some of the best food that I have ever eaten. Kevin made some amazing sweet potatoe casserole, macaroni and cheese, and creamed potates. George also outdid himself with the mouth watering turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, green beans, and stuffing. There wasn't any dressing, but we did have sweet tea!
Maddox didn't waste any time getting started once the food was ready!
Beckett wasn't up for his own plate of food yet, but he definitely enjoyed himself at his first Thanksgiving!
Dessert...yum! Pumpkin pie with homemade whipped cream!
All I can say is that we went home stuffed and ready for a nap!
