We love it when friends and family come to visit because we get to take them on a tour of San Francisco, and we honestly love being tour guides in this city. It never gets old! Although, we are so good at it that we may start charging for our tours!
We had to take an updated famliy photo in front of Golden Gate. There will be many more of these as the boys grow.
This is the story of Lombard Street (aka the crooked street in San Fran). Tuba and Ashley wanted to get some pictures of it, so the amazing tour guide in me thought that we should walk down and take a picture from the bottom. We did exactly that. I don't have any other pictures from our trek because I was taking pictures of them with their camera, but I can tell you that this street is crooked and steep. I didn't think about the hike back to Kevin and the kids in the van and how exhausted it would make us when I came up with that grand plan. Oh well, I think the pictures were worth it. I also learned a lesson for our next tour...drive down..get out and take photo then.
Ashley and I love our coffee!
You can't tour San Fran without seeing the Sea Lions at the wharf...Maddox's favorite spot of all!
Tuba and Ashley brought some AMAZING honey from the Savannah Bee Company. It was an actual piece of the honeycomb cut straight from the source. I didn't even know you could eat the honeycomb, but you can it is delicious with some great cheese, crackers, grapes, and apple slices. I ate most of this plate by myself, but Maddox helped me a little.
Maddox LOVED having them here, and so did we. I hope they come back soon!
