It takes a lot to keep these boys busy, so sometimes I have to get really creative.
This is them "painting" with water on construction paper.
We do actually paint with real paint sometimes, but it really is a lot of clean up now that Beckett is in on the action. This was acceptable to them and made me very happy too.
When Maddox starts acting up, I have learned it is usually because he is bored and just needs to feel like he is contributing. Last Saturday, we were both a little antzy (is that even and word? no idea how to spell it). I am always looking for ways to decorate the house, and recently, I have been trying to figure out what to do above the cabinets in the kitchen. I had a few things lying around, and I got an idea.

I also had a sign that I loved, but it wasn't really showing up.
Maddox said, "this is my job mom."
He did a great job! He is such a good little helper..when he wants to be.
