To Infinity and Beyond....OR Georgia!

On October 4, 2011, I braved  the unthinkable...the impossible. I went to the airport and boarded a plane with a VERY active toddler and a 4 month old. Crazy you ask? No, I was desperate to see my family and friends in Georgia. This particular picture was taken after Maddox fell asleep. He slept for about an hour and a half...and then it was on!!!

This was taken after the 5 hour flight on which Maddox pooped 3 times. If you need to know how to change the diaper of a wiggly toddler while wearing a 4 month old on an airplane floor, I am your girl. It isn't pretty, but it can be done. All in all, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I still would not do it again unless absolutely necessary. Thankfully, we were sitting with a girl that was expecting her first child, so she still had very positive thoughts about children. I was happy that by the end of the flight she still seemed to be excited about having a baby and wanted a boy of all things. Go US!!! I cannot say that the flight attendants were very helpful or even hid there expressions of disgust as they watched all of the kids boarding the plane. Oh well...at least they got paid to be there.
