And Baby Makes....a Whole LOT of JOY!

The Windham Family welcomed Beckett James Windham on May 24, 2011 at 9:16 am
Weighing in at 8lbs. 10 oz. and Measuring 20" long
Here is a clip from his first few minutes of life!

We left the house at about 6:15 am to be prepped for a C-section at 9 am.

It was hard for me to leave Maddox, but I knew YaYa was there to take care of him for the next few days! He was defintiely in good hands!

Beckett was born at ValleyCare Hospital in Pleasanton, California. Dr. Nunes performed the C-section, and he was very kind and encouraging. He took me on at the end of my pregnancy, and I was very thankful for him. I can't believe I have an east coast baby and a west coast baby!

Here I am all ready to go in to meet Beckett. I wasn't really that excited about surgery, but I was very excited to meet my newest baby boy! Kevin caught me off guard with this picture.

Everything went pretty smoothly with Beckett's birth at ValleyCare. We are very thankful to have another healthy baby boy!

Daddy getting ready to cut the umbilical cord. I am glad he has to do this and not me.

Our little bundle of joy all wrapped up and ready to meet mama who is anxiously waiting to see her precious one for the first time!

I think the look on my face says how excited and happy I was to see that he was there and doing well.

I did get to give him a kiss, but I couldn't wait to hold him in my arms for the first time. It felt like hours before I got see him in my recovery room, but it was worth it. They let me feed him for the first time even before they bathed him. That was a very special hour. He latched on and ate his little heart out.

I think he is saying, "Leave me alone already!"

YaYa brought Maddox to meet his new baby brother. Maddox had picked out an alligator at Babie R Us  for him as a gift.

Here is Maddox about to open Beckett's gift to him...a Mr. Potatoe Head from Toy Story!

YaYa was very excited to hold her second grandson for the first time!

Maddox is pointing out all of Beckett's facial features..."eyes, nose, mouth." He calls him bebe.

Stay tuned for more on Baby Beckett!
