Livermore Wine Country Festival!

Since we have been here, we have been doing a lot of unpacking, getting everything in its proper place, and getting things ready for Beckett's arrival! We decided to take a break from that this weekend because we heard about the Livermore Wine Country Festival in downtown Livermore! So we packed some water, snacks, stroller, a chair for prego me and headed to the festival!
We were so happy to be out on a beautiful day walking around in our new town. They had booths with all kinds of goodies lining the streets. We saw artwork, pottery, local honey, olive oil, bbq sauce, clothing, jewelry, yummy food, children's activities, wine of course, and live music! Here are the highlights of the day!

Maddox enjoyed a corndog while Kevin had a bbq sandwich with coleslaw, and I had a great lamb gyro!

We took a little break so that I could sit down, and Kevin got Maddox out of the stroller to run around for a while. In this pic, he was telling me about the choo choo train he rode.

We were walking around found a tent with a classic rock band, and Maddox started dancing in the stroller and clapping. This, I am sure, will make his Papaw Mike and his Papa Steve very proud.

We stopped so that he could enjoy the music, and he insisted that we take him out of the stroller...so of course, we obliged.

If you look closely, you can see Maddox up front leading the audience in clapping! Everyone loved him, and he LOVED that they were watching him.(he is definitely his father's son)

Here is one of Maddox's "fans" taking a picture of him dancing!

Then the running began. Maddox found a little girl to chase around for a long time.

At this point in the day, Maddox was exhausted as was his mama, so we decided to pack up and head home. We made it about three hours which is pretty good for us! Maddox was asleep about 30 seconds into the car ride. I wish I had a picture of that to post. This was a great way to start our adventures in Livermore.
