We did our best to provide Maddox with a great Easter experience considering the circumstances. Those circumstances being that he won't really sit still for the real Easter story (and doesn't get it), we couldn't find an egg hunt to participate in with other kids, we are thousands of miles from family (which are usually involved), and finally his mommmy is very, very pregnant and couldn't stand in line to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.
Against all odds, he did have an Easter Basket with candy (or cookies as he calls anything sweet), "hunted" eggs in our home, went to church to hear about Jesus, and had Easter lunch (even if it was mexican)! I am pretty sure the only thing that Maddox learned and cared about today was those little plastic eggs that had candy inside.
We didn't manage to get a family picture, but I did take a few pics from the day! I will try to post the Easter egg hunt video at a later date. I am having trouble getting it to download.
